When I first started looking for a Russian or Ukrainian girlfriend, the first thing I did from the thousands of very attractive girls available was completely disregard the ones who could not communicate without a translator. There are two reasons for this. Firstly it would have been incredibly expensive to go this route, and secondly, you are creating a relationship with a translator not the actual person you are trying to communicate with.
When you are trying to build relationships with Russian women, and build a relationship that will eventually develop into a marriage and family, and then you need to be able to have those moments that people in love share. Those intimate jokes and the little things that only you know about. It is called intimacy, and it can only in my humble opinion be created between two people who can communicate in a common language.
What it really comes down to is do you want a Russian wife you can have a relationship with? Or do you want a Russian wife who is just a trophy, who you cannot communicate with properly, and probably just wants you for the passport you can provide, and the country you live in?
Another key reason for only targeting Russian girls who can speak fluent or good English is that being able to speak the native language of the USA and UK is becoming increasingly important when applying for fiancé visas and residency permits for your Russian bride. Yes it is true she can learn the language, but one of the first questions you should expect to be asked is “How did you two communicate then?” oh and “Was the translator there all the time?”
Therefore your action plan for success with Russian girls after getting your profile active is to target women who have good or fluent skills in English. Everything else from there on in will be much easier in the process of you finding a Russian bride.
